Ashley House
Welcome to our Homestead in the quiet, country setting of the Piney Woods of East Texas. Our home, Ashley House sits on 11 acres at the corner of Mill Gate Road and Ashley. It is a 3 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath, with a large cooks kitchen, 2 fireplaces, laundry room, security system, and two living areas. This is an ample home of 2,950 sq. ft. The Master Bedroom has a King Size Bed. There are two huge bedrooms upstairs. One has an antique Queen Sized bed. The third bedroom has 2 twin size beds. An office/den is located upstairs. The back porch overlooks a small pond. This beautifully fully furnished house is available for a 3 or more months term. Horse pasture is available also. It includes WIFI, electric, water, trash, lawn care, Dish Network.
Ashley Cottages
We have four, 1 bedroom, 1 bath cottages available for rent on a short term basis (3 to 6 months) or if you prefer, long term. We cater to professionals who are in the area for a short term. The cottages are completely decorated and furnished down to the soap. All you need are your groceries, personal items, and clothes. All units have central heat and air and includes all utilities (water, garbage, trash and electricity). Each cottage also equipped with washer and dryer, fully furnished kitchen with stove, refrigerator with ice maker, and Dish Network or DirecTV with DVR. There are several antique pieces of furniture and antique Persian rugs in the different cottages. Other bonuses include ironing boards, Oreck vacuums, cleaning supplies, towels, and linens. The kitchen has dish service for 8, silverware, pots, pans, bowls, coffee pot, mixer, toaster, and utensils.
About Livingston.......
The setting is rural but we are only 7 to 10 minutes away from all that Livingston has to offer: Wal-mart Supercenter, CVS Pharmacy, Lowes, Burger King, Whataburger, Jack in the Box, Sonic Drive-In, Chinese Buffet, McDonald's, Churches Chicken, Popeyes Chicken, HEB and several local restaurants, Post Office, nursing homes and Hospital. A small convenience store with butcher shop and cafe is 3 minutes away.
Visit Pedigo Park, go antiquing and the quaint downtown district. Livingston always has loads of activities. We have a local museum and the Trade Days show once a month. There are also regular horse shows and rodeos. We are only 20 miles from Lake Livingston and 1 hour to Bush Airport in Houston.
